Message from the President

Our community is the proud home of the Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts. We are very fortunate to have such a facility in our community – the Sanderson Centre, opened in 1919, is an architectural gem in which our community can enjoy the performing arts and various events: theatre, comedy, music, recitals, graduations, ceremonies, educational programs, and more.

I joined the Sanderson Centre Foundation Board of Directors in December of 2017 in hopes that I can help ensure that the Sanderson Centre continues to be a place for local events that our whole community can enjoy. As a Board, I know that we are sincerely thankful for all the support (past and future) that we have in the community. We look forward to continuing this work in the future.

Board of Directors

The Sanderson Centre Foundation provides funds for the betterment and restoration of the Sanderson Centre. Although the Sanderson Centre itself is owned and operated by the City of Brantford, the Sanderson Centre Foundation is independent. The Foundation’s Board of Directors are unpaid volunteers who are passionate about fundraising for the Sanderson Centre so that our community can continue to enjoy this facility for many years into the future. The purpose behind the Foundation is to fundraise for capital improvements for the Sanderson Centre.
