The Sanderson Centre Foundation is thankful for one time gifts. Your meaningful donation will help provide an important and ongoing source of funding for top priority capital projects at the Sanderson Centre. We are grateful for the many in our community that contribute to support our beautiful theatre, now, and for future generations.
Contributions of $500 or more are gratefully acknowledged in the season playbill and on our website. In addition, donors at this level will receive a commemorative seat plaque installed in the theatre and a copy of the Foundation’s book, A Century of Applause , which is detailed under OUR PROJECTS.

Making a gift in honour of someone is a meaningful way to celebrate or recognize a family member, friend or colleague. You may wish to honour an individual that has inspired you, such as a teacher, or celebrate milestones including birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, graduations or retirements.

Legacy Giving
A BEQUEST IN YOUR WILL
Include a gift to the Sanderson Centre Foundation in your will.
Please share your intention to make a planned gift. If you are considering gift planning as a way of supporting the Sanderson Centre Foundation, or if you have already included the Sanderson Centre Foundation in your estate plans, we encourage you to let us know.
The Sanderson Centre Foundation would like to appropriately recognize your thoughtful intention. You will be added to our mailing list and receive updates on the programs and activities of the Sanderson Centre Foundation, as well as invitations to special events.
The most common type of planned gift is a bequest made through a will. Bequests and other planned gifts create a strong future for the Sanderson Centre Foundation. A planned gift through a bequest may serve to significantly reduce, by means of a tax credit, the tax payable on your final income tax return.
A GIFT OF LIFE INSURANCE
The gift of life insurance can be an effective and affordable way to make a transformative gift to the Sanderson Centre Foundation. When you donate through life insurance, you can give the Sanderson Centre Foundation access to the policy’s cash value during your lifetime, and make a substantial gift later on in the form of the policy’s death benefit.
How giving through life insurance works:
You may name the Sanderson Centre Foundation as the owner and beneficiary of a new policy. Any premiums will then be considered a donation and are eligible for a tax receipt.
You may name the Sanderson Centre Foundation as owner and beneficiary of an existing policy. Any future premiums the individual pays will be considered a donation and are eligible for a tax receipt.
Retain ownership of the policy but designate the Sanderson Centre Foundation as the beneficiary or one of the beneficiaries. Your estate then receives a tax receipt for the proceeds of the policy.
